  • Is there a phone number we can call if we need assistance making a reservation or during our stay?

  • Are you open year-round, including holidays?

    No.

  • How large is your cabin?

    Our Cabin is very cozy — it comfortably sleeps four to six people. There is one bedroom downstairs with a queen-size bed. Upstairs in the loft area, there are two twin-size beds and a full sized futon.

  • How can I rent the cabin?

    We require that you call and make a reservation for the Cabin and provide a $100.00 security deposit (check). If there is no damage, we return the security deposit.

  • What are your check-in and check-out procedures?

    Check-in is at 3 p.m., and check-out is at 11 a.m. If it doesn’t affect other bookings, these times can be flexible with an extra charge. When you check out, we ask that you strip your beds and take the trash to the dumpster as you leave Woodland Acres.

  • How old do you have to be to book a cabin rental? Are children allowed?

    21 years old to book. Children are welcome.

  • What items should we bring? For instance, do you provide firewood?

    Firewood is available for our guests. We run on well water, so we suggest you bring plenty of bottled water if you are not accustomed to the taste of well water.

  • Does the camp or cabin include Wi-Fi?

    Wi-Fi is not available anywhere on the campground.

  • How is the cell phone reception?

    T-Mobile & Sprint users do not experience good cellphone coverage. Verizon has strong service and AT&T is hit-and-miss.

  • Are pets allowed in the cabin and lodge?

    Pets are allowed but must remain on a leash at all times.

  • How close is the nearest gas station?

    The nearest gas stations are 8 miles to the west in Seward or 12 Miles to the east near the Kawasaki plant.

  • Can we decorate the Lodge, Pavilion, or Cabin?

    Decorating is OK, but we do not allow taped-up decorations or confetti. All decorations must be table-top decorations.

  • Can we smoke?

    There is absolutely no smoking allowed on the campground.

  • Are we allowed to drink alcohol on the property?

    NO ALCOHOL. NO DRUGS. NO SMOKING. NO VAPING.

  • What if we get snowed in?

    We expect guests to keep up with the weather conditions. In the winter months, you MUST have a four-wheel drive vehicle to access the cabin. We plow the driveways, but there is nothing we can do when they freeze over with ice. Woodland Acres is not responsible for any tow bills.
